Took me forever...well...not really. Anyways, the name's Henry and you're dating someone who was mine in the first place...you have a couple of choices
1. Dump her and give her to me
2. Ask me questions about her since I probably know more than you
or 3. We become friends and I help improve your relationship only because I don't wish to see her heart broken

It probably pissed you off because this person is treating it like your relationship is still his business. Despite the fact that he and whoever it is you're dating are clearly over, he displays possessiveness over her and seems to think you owe it to him to respond or associate with him in any way. If he didn't think you were obliged to respond to him, the wording would have been all different. He listed those three things, all options which involved you submitting to him as being her better option in some way or another, as your available choices rather than as simple options. He also failed to add the fourth option, which would have been ignoring him entirely because he is irrelevant as of now.
And you shouldn't worry. Be a good boyfriend. Love and respect her, and make sure she does the same for you. Have a healthy relationship. That's perfect. If you two are good together, this person is only making himself look stupid, clingy and nosy. -
