I don't know exactly what it is shortening, so I'll go ahead and figure out what you mean. I can go ahead and type random stuff just so we can test this out together. You said 140 characters, correct? I think I can type a little more that that to see how much I can get in. You know what, I'm probably past that, huh? Oh well. Just goes to show you how much fun I'm having.

You probaly don't understand html, but you should understand the basics.
If I type [b] it doesn't do anything, unless I end it. Because that's how gtq is coded, if it ends it turns it into the html bold tags,
On your profile it only shows the first 140 characters of each post, so the tag never closes. Making the entire page bolded.
