You would put the median in the middle of the box...right? Because in the example it was off to the right in the box, but that wouldn't make sense if you were to write a number line under it.

You put it somewhere in the box. It doesn't necessarily have to be right in the middle.

Most math is retarded and un-needed. You obviously haven't learned this. There is no equation. And if there was, you wouldn't need to solve it. And box and whisker plots are just another way of showing your data. They show you if you have an outlier. If your whisker is longer on one side than the other, then you have an outlier.
So I'll put it in the middle. Alright. -
