Deka looked down, and saw a duckling. "Hey, you were with that fleeing girl."

Gilbird quacked happily, he liked being recognized, then he sat on the girl's shoe.

Deka giggled, and patted the ducklings head lightly. "You're pretty cute."

Gilbird quacked in contentment, "Gilbird?" called Kyari quietly, Gilbird heard the call and quacked back.

"Hey up there, you're little friend is quite welcoming." Deka said. -
Kyari jumped down from the tree and walked over, "Sorry, was he bothering you?" she apologized, bending down to face Gilbird, "Waddup duck?" she asked, Gilbird just quacked.

"Oh no, he's rather cute acually." Deka said.

Gilbird quacked happily, Kyari smiled, "Yeah he really is, isn't he?" she said, Gilbird stopped quacking abruptly as if he could sense something was wrong.

The smile left Deka's face as she looked around. "Something doesn't feel right."

Kyari began to frown like usual, "We should get out of here." she stated, then Gilbird quacked some more.

Deka nodded, stood up, and took one last look around.

Kyari sniffed and started walking towards the exit of the forest.

Deka followed, and quickened her pace when she head twigs snapping.
