Actually, no, JustAPerson
If you want to be an artist in the professional field, you need to learn to deal with criticism. You cannot ignore criticism of any kind, this will truly hurt your artwork in the long run (unless of course it's literally just people telling you that you are s--- and should feel like s--- but if you're just starting out you need to take those into account as well).
@Animephan. I see. Either way, whilst I believe that quitting on the account of another person is not awesome at all, I can't stop you from doing so. I believe you shouldn't, and that you should draw on your own f---ing account and things that you like to draw because that's how people get motivated to get even better.
However, from your blatant disrespect of other artists (one of which, happens to be one of MY closest friends), I lack the ability to sympathize with you very well. If I may ask, why did you call the girl who called vegekaka an inspiration, "delusional"? -
@Carri, First of all. That youtube account is MINE. 2. It's none of yo beezwax.
-
Actually, it is her business you pretentious ass.
-
Where did I say that your account was not yours?
second, it is in fact my business when you attack the girl I call my daughter. As a fellow artist, I'm asking respectfully for an explanation because I'd like to understand better before I make any judgement. -
I don't wanna say my reasons.
-
Why not? Are you jealous? Do you dislike her artwork? Do you feel that she does not deserve the kindness and recognition? Do you dislike her as a person? Stop me when I get it.
-
2 of them.
-
Which ones?
-
If you won't say your reasons then don't say your complaints. They go hand in hand. And giving one but not the other merits no other responses than the ones you've been getting.
-
Basically what bob said^
-
The obvious ones.
-
They're all obvious. I think you dislike her because you don't like her art and that you don't think she deserves the kindness and recognition for it.
Bob thinks you don't like her artwork and as a person
Which one of us is closer? -
Well, if art makes you this pretentious, then maybe you should quit. You're obviously so conceited that you won't get far. You're refusing any criticism, acting smug around people who you dislike, and are making a total ass of yourself.
Find a hobby that doesn't involve talking with other people because you obviously can't handle that kind of pressure. -
If you don't like my artwork, then I have no problem with it. Feel free to not like my artwork because everyone has an opinion.
And if you think I don't deserve kindness and recognition for it, then I'm not going to blame you because I don't think that either. -
I disagree, Alice. I've watched you grow as an artist and seen your improvement milestones. Believe me when I say I'm extremely proud of you, and I believe you'll succeed.
If you work hard on your artwork, you deserve the kindness and recognition because if people like your work, you're doing something right.
