Oh my god I seriously don't know anyone from Durango that isn't from my family. I only know one person on here who has like the same name as me who was born in Durango.
In Sinaloa, there's a popular dance called El Pasito Durangese. So yeah, because of the name everyone thinks the dance is from Durango when it's not. :c -
Oh. So it was a completely irrelevant culture that drew attention to Durango?

And if it's not that, it's because there are scorpions all over Durango and that makes us even less popular. In fact, Durango is the second least populated state in Mexico gah. -
Like honestly where I lived people kept scorpions as pets.
You just don't mess with them and you'll be okay. -
Olovely. I don't think I'd like a scorpion for a pet. If you try to cuddle it, either you or it are probably gonna get hurt. I prefer kitties. So cuddly. x3

My mom's bf's family is from Durango and my best friend is from there too.
That sucks. It's like when people say Chihuahua is ugly cause of all the violence there. I mean yes, the violence sucks but it doesn't make it ugly. At least in my opinion.
