  You know how I've said once or twice that he likes making fun of Mexico/people there.
  
  So he was saying things about 'The Shout', it's an event that happens every year on Mexico's date of independence (Sept. 16th). Basically people scream "Long live Mexico!" and s--- like that.
  
  Okay so you know how the president usually joins in? He was saying that one year, the president joined in. And he was promising things. So he said, "We promise to build a bridge for your river!"
  
  And the people responded "But we don't have a river!"
  
  Then the president said back "Then we'll build a river!"
  
  Then he kept saying "And we'll build a statue and a statuette and they'll have little statues and then this town will be full of pinche statues!"
  
  THE SAD THING IS IS THAT I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF THIS WAS ACTUALLY TRUE OMFG.

  It's okay. It's a thing that's better told in Spanish and it requires a bit of knowledge on past history. xD
