It is, very much, but I actually find it quite amusing when I say "um, he" or "him" and they're just like "...oh"

Yeah, my dad was the same way when I was talking about the way might guy friend attacked me. He was like..."He..." you could see the confusion.

Lol, yeah. I find that it's most amusing when the guy friend that I'm talking about has a unisex name, so it's even more confusing for the other person. Like, my step- sister had seen my calender in my room (I write all my friends' birthdays on it) and my friend's name is Riley so it's a unisex name, and my sister asked about "her" and then when I corrected her she was like "oh... Well, him"
