Hailey paled. The same could have happened to Nera. She shook her head. Her eyes landed on Jace. She wanted to help him but she didnt know how.

He clicked a button and the half sword folded together into a lion's head shaped card that he slid into his pocket. It was the size of a dollar. He watched Zoren who whined and laid down next to his feet.

Hailey id the unthinkable. she hugged him. she had never hugged anyone before. "Im sorry Jace."

He tensed but relaxed wrapping his arms around her he buried his face in her shoulder his own sagging. She would be able to feel his muscles bellow her arms.

She blushed and tried to think of a way to make him feel better but she couldnt think of anything. Nera showed up and purred. Hailey glred at her. She knew about this. she knew it would happen.

Zoren wagged his tail and stood tortting to Nera. Jace started to let go reluctilantly.

Hailey blushed and glared at Nera. "Sorry about that..." she pushed her index fingers together. Nera chuckled and her tail flicked in amuzement. Hailey grabbed her wrench off the counter and hurled it at Nera. Nera dodged quickly.

Zoren jumped and caught it in his jaws with a grin. Jace shook his head "Can i stay here tonight?" He asked softly.

She blinked."Sure. Um the guest room is the the right upstairs." She pointed up to the stairs. Nera yawned.

He nodded and headed up and Zoren walked after him.

Hailey watched as they walked away. then she turned at Nera."What the hell was that!!!" Nera chuckled.I did nothing. "yes you did! why did you mess with my head?!"I didnt do anything Master Hailey now we need sleepNera walked up the stairs. Hailey sighed and walked up a swell.

He found the room and fell asleep with a hand on Zorens head who fell asleep and into save mode.

Hailey sighed and flopped onto her bed. She fell asleep instently. Nera hooked up to her charging station.

He woke up in the morning and groaned laying there.

Hailey blinked and woke up. She yawned and found a new shirt and a pair of pants. She slipped off her old red shirt. Nera woke up and yawned loudly.
