Magenta shrugged, starting a fire. "I'm always traveling, making sure I don't get captured by knights and killed. It's a hard life for a monster like me."

"Hahaha, she tries to keep them alive. She has a good heart. Soft for people and creatures in need, I suppose."

"Were you in need? Is that why you're her favorite?" Magenta asked, looking at Fae.

"Yeah...a lot of people hated me when I was a kid. I always knew more. They thought I was a curse. Never payed attention to other people...only me. I had to run away from my family because of it. She found me a few days later and took me in. I've always listened to her since. She understands how I know more. How it's not my fault."

"Hmm, sounds interesting." Magenta mused quietly, beginning to roast the rabbit.

"Heh...yeah." Fae looked at the trees, thinking.

Magenta chuckled. "Sorry. I can't always control this mind stuff I can do."

"I see...well, that's a creepy though. Get it?" Fae stuck her tongue out and grinned at her smart aleck comment.

Fae heard a twig snap. She tackled a bush, and soon in her hands was a fuzzy rabbit. "Ooh, so soft..."
