We could always do the America side of Night Takeover... Basically, a group vampires take over the world. The Presidents son's helicopter gets shot down, hes the only survivor. He meets a girl later, who turns out to be a vampire. But they cant kill each other. The girl is split between him and her people.

Sweet. Mine too. You have a plot? This was my idea-
The government has fallen. The People are on their own, survive or don't. A girl is given the choice of saving herself or her family- and saves her family. She ends up in Elysium (greek mythology. Kind of like heaven, but in the Underworld. Best place you can go when you die.)
A boy must save himself or his true love- and again, sacrifices himself. He also ends up in Elysium and meets the girl. At first they become friends, trying to escape to save the rest of their race, eventually falling in love. -
