Kiyoko chased after Norio when he ran across the field, knowing that the objective at the moment was the get the ball back. However, he seemed pretty hesitant to do so because he felt that being pushy and aggressive might hurt Norio. When the older male kicked it to the net and made it, Kiyoko simply clapped and smiled.
-
He watched the ball go into the net and looked back toward Kiyoko with a small smile. He could sense that perhaps the younger wasn't used to being very assertive, and spoke up. "Don't be afraid to fight for it. Give it all you got." He kicked it back to him, getting ready to defend on his own side now.
-
"Okay," he responded with a nod of his head, taking the ball. He put on his best face of determination and began kicking it across the field, being careful to be aware if Norio was catching up to him.
-
Norio ran after him, and soon came up closer. He tried to see if he could kick the ball away, and if not would try to defend his goal.
-
He could feel Norio closing in on him and he instantly tensed and slowed down. Yeah, he was really bad with not getting scared suddenly. He kicked the ball without thinking, since mentally his mind went blank.
-
Seeing the other kick the ball suddenly made him feel a bit bad as to whether or not he scared him, but he quickly recovered the ball and started back down the field. He supposed the best way Kiyoko would get better was through practice and becoming more confident in his actions.
-
Kiyoko pouted when the ball was taken from him, but realized that he shouldn't have been expecting anything else. He raced behind Norio once more, and though by then his legs were feeling a bit tired he managed to catch up. Remembering what he had seen on TV earlier, he gently pushed Norio with his body. Obviously it wasn't hard enough to do anything, but he was still trying to see what amount was the right amount.
-
Norio continued to bring the ball forward, a bit impressed with the other's new found confidence. This time it was becoming more difficult for him to keep possession, and once he got close enough to the goal he attempted to a kick, the execution more messy than his previous shot.
-
He watched at the ball hit the goal post and bounced back to the both of them. Kiyo decided this was his chance and ran for the ball. He managed to gain control of it but the problem now was dodging Norio.
-
Figuring the ball wasn't going to make it, Norio kept his focus back on going after the younger. He contemplated in his mind if whether or not he should let him win one for the hell of it, but by way his breathing was starting to grow heavier as he tried to keep up, he might not even need to do so.
-
Obviously seeming a bit scared, Kiyoko ran past the older man and kept running. He felt a bit light headed and pretty tired, but he was remembering how this was how he'd usually push himself back in the day. When he was close enough to the goal post he kicked the ball as best as he could.
-
Making a last stance to try and get the ball back, Norio ran forward and attempted to block the ball, only to have it strike past him and into the net. He smiled, going over and giving Kiyo a high five. "You did it, fair and square." With his other arm, he swiped some sweat from his forehead and catch his breath. "Wanna call it a day?"
-
"Thank you," Kiyoko panted, smiling brightly. He wiped the sweat off of his face using the shirt he had on. "Yeah, that'd be good. I'm kinda tired right now.."
-
"Same here." Norio picked up the ball and got ready to leave, softly taking Kiyoko's hand in his as they walked back toward the apartment. The sun was starting to go down and he wanted them to get back before it was completely dark out.
-
Kiyoko held Norio's hand tightly and sighed happily. Then he looked at the sky. It was going to be dark soon. Soon, it'd be nighttime. It would be a whole day since he was let out of the warehouse.
