Then all of a sudden he comes up with saying, "Why can't the USA be like Mexico? Little kids learn how to use guns over there, and I've never heard of a massacre involving schools in Durango. It only gets serious when it's the drugs. (he said that because those guys have the guns that only need to be reloaded every 100 bullets or so. But I doubt that narcos will get into your s--- like that if you're not a drug dealer or a rich person.)"
Somehow I agree with my dad so much. Yeah, Mexico's f---ing dangerous. But people actually know how to protect themselves over there, even without guns. When I was four, a few months before actually coming to the USA, I remember my uncle giving me a lesson about guns and he let me shoot the pig he was going to kill to make menudo and all that stuff. Never did me any harm, nor did it do harm to any of my cousins.

Well, yeah. I'm not for this anti gun thing. It's ridiculous. People should just learn how to protect themselves so that they can take on that type of crap. >.> This is one of those times where Mexico actually does something I think people can make an example of. -
All the anti-gun thing is gonna do is take guns from the people who would use them to defend themselves.. Good people are gonna be unarmed, and bad people... Well, they're not gonna say "OH, THESE ARE ILLEGAL? DAYUM, GUESS WE CAN'T USE THEM."

Of course they're not going to say that. They have an entire country full of guns right under them, and when you get a gun from there, there will be no history that you bought it.
Once they ban guns, they'll want to ban all sorts of different things too. "ohh, knives kill people let's ban those" "omg cars run over people and they die, let's ban those." That'll only give people less freedom and the government more power eventually.
There is good and bad to banning them and keeping them.. But I just like to think of it this way:
If the Jews had guns, what would have happened to them during WW2? -

..I sometimes wish I could go back to that time and kill Hitler before he could do that. The entire thought just makes me sick.
But yes, you're right, of course. As my mother says, once they start taking our rights, where do they stop?
