"Hello." I said, looking up at him. I didn't see anything that indicated the breeze was hitting him to. That was the most vexing detail.

I smiled a little. "I'm Chase."

I shyly looked at my feet, grinning. "I'm Nathan.."

I altogether stopped the breeze. "Nice to meet you, Nathan."

The breeze suddenly stopped. I looked up and smiled. "Nice to meet you, too."

"So....". I wondered why no one else was here yet. I wondered if school was cancelled. I wished...

I glanced at my watch and made a face. "So how old are you?"

"17...." I got embarrased after admitting that. "And yourself...?"

"Same." I suddenly wondered why I asked that question.

"That's cool." I sighed. "I don't think there was school today..."

I glanced at the school doors. "That would be nice."

"Yeah.." I agreed, nodding.

I looked at my watch again and sighed. "Well, it's a good half hour late, so I don't think there's school."

"Nope..." I smiled gentlly, mostly ecstatic because there was no school.
