I heard the doorbell ring. "Macy? Can you please get that, honey?" She asked, in another attempt to talk to people. I cursed under my breath. I asked slowly down the stair and opening the door. "Hey." -
"Hi.." I said a little shyly. "Um.. I was kinda bored and just decided to hang weigh you and you seemed nice and all..." I trailed.

I groaned quietly. "Sure.." I said unsure. "Want me to show you around?" I asked more politely.

"Sure." I said. I started to get a feeling that she really didnt wanna be here with me.

"Lemme just grab my keys. Come in." I moved out of the way.

I slowly walked in. "Nice house." I said.

"Thanks." I smiled genuinely. I walked into my upstairs room getting my keys. Soon after I walked down stairs. My mom close behind. "Where are you going..?" She asked concern on her voice. "I'm showing.. Err her around." I said, trying to recall her name. "Be careful." She said worried as she left us alone.

"You ready?" I asked.

"Yeah. Sorry, what's your name?" I asked, opening the door for the both of us.

"Oh. It's Emerald. Yours?" I stepped out the door.

"Macy." I said. I walked into my car, taking in the smell that reminding me of Jason.

I opened the door, a nice fragrance hitting me in the face. "Not to sound weird, but your car smells good." I smiled.

I felt a tennis ball inside of my throat. "I h. Thanks.." I managed to say as years flooded down my checks.
