I smile. "Very true."

I looked up at him. "Yep." Happiness danced in my eyes.

"So... that changes things."

"Indeed." I agreed, shyly flicking my head to stare at my feet.

"That means I can do this..." I gently take his chin and kiss his lips gently.

I blushed a rosy pink, my stomach butterflies fluttering around. I smiled brightly and made a happily-shy face.

I pull away and smile. -

I leaned forward and hugged him tightly, burying my face in his chest. I couldn't reach his head from where I was sitting. -
I chuckled and hugged him back.

My heart skipped a beat as he hugged me back.
"Thank you for being a great person." -
I chuckled. "As if I were the only one. You're awesome, too."

I pulled back from the hug, smiling. A sudden realization hit me. "Wasn't today a half day?" I asked.
