So, don't you think that'd be kinda... odd? Plus, I have no idea what he looks like, and he's like, on the West Coast and all that shiz
She smiled a little and was perfectly happy walking at this pace. -
Yeah, he's a few hours away from me. And I don't see how that'd be odd.
He eventually noticed it, but didn't change it. -
Oh, I see. Well, why don't you go for him?
She still felt a little shy around him, but it was good walking with him. -
Wouldn't date a military guy. Plus I have somebody else in mind.
He thought back to the other night on the roofs. She hadn't seemed so shy. -
-.- He's 16. He's not military yet.
She kept thinking about what would life be like when they returned. -
Planning to be.
He thought back to the future... or was it the present? With what he'd seen so far, he preferred to stay where they were. Nobody seemed the be worried or scared. Everyone seemed so relaxed and happy. -
True... Besides, I'm planning on moving to Japan, so it wouldn't work out.
She thought about her parents. What if they had got an abortion, or she had died? What if they had never gotten married and she didn't exist in the first place? -
When?
He hit the elevator button. Maybe if things didn't work out in the present when they went back, they could just return here. -
After I graduate high school. I might go to college for 2 years. So probably in about 3 1/2 years. Maybe. I've already kinda got a job.
When the doors opened, she shyly stepped in. She didn't know why she was being so shy. She usually was, but so shy... She fingered her locket. What would happen to it? It wouldn't have been made yet. -
Oooooooh. Well, send me a post card. And a fish.
As the doors closed and he pressed the button, he found himself casually glancing over at her. -
A post card, definitely. A fish? Um, no. Sorry :P Anything else you'll need? Stuff is cheaper there.
She stood there, looking at the ground. She kept thinking.
Yesss... stare at her... ;) -
Yeah sure send me miso and dried seaweed.
"You know, that would be safer around your neck," he said quietly, pointing the the locket.
You're weird. He can't stare at her without you getting all winky face. -
Miso will be difficult, but I'll try. And dried seaweed, you can get at the supermarket. If you get the right brand, it tastes the same.
She glanced down at the locket and smiled. "Heh. Yeah, I guess it would be." She pulled her hair over her shoulder and frowned at the clasp. "Could you....?"
Well, he's already kissed her, so... yeah. I know I'm weird. :D -
I know it all tastes the same but it's so expensive here.
He nodded, helping her put it on. Afterward, he brushed her neck with a small and quick kiss.
You're so weird. -
That's the truth! In Japan, I bought Pocky for 100 yen (about $1.25). Here, it's $3.)
She shuddered and smiled. She turned and wrapped her arms around him and buried her face in his chest.
I know. :)
