I stare at my hands. It seemed really private. And I felt like I was intruding. I looked up at Perry. "I don't know what you should do. I know you chose me, but...I'm not sure if I can take care of you the way your mum can."

I look up at Perry. "What the bloody hell?" I shouted. "Perry...your hands just.."

I was staring at my hands in horror. I shrieked and ran into the kitchen. "MICHAEL! TURN ON THE WATER FOR ME!"

I turned the knobs on the faucet, grabbed her wrists, and shoved her hands under the running water. I stared at her. "Are you okay? You aren't...hurt or anything?"

'Great. Just great. The boy I've liked forever has just seen my hands burst into flames, me yelling at my parents like a mental person... no way he'll like me anymore.' I think to myself.

It's one I use for stuff like this. So my mom doesn't think I'm giving my email out to complete strangers. :P She sometimes reads the emails in my other email, so I created this one to keep part of my life private, at least. -

I take her hands, and study them, looking for burn marks, anything, to prove I was not going crazy. I noticed Perry wasn't looking at me, so I lifted her chin. "Hey," I said softly. "It'll be okay, we'll find some explanation for this. I- I promise I'll take care of you, to the best of my abilities. For however long you'll stand me, I'll be with you."
