"Lucia Weex Malik!" Lucus jumped at the sound of his name. He knew he was late. He swiftly picked up his journal and sprinted down the path to the cottage. As he weaved in and out of the tall trees, the long silky grass tickled his feet. Ms. Bunds would not pleased with his tardiness.
The yellow, orange, brown, and red leaves spiraled around Lucus, dancing in the wind. He never stumbled, for he knew the path quite well. -
