"I don't have a nightlight.." I say looking at her.

"Here have a flashlight." I say walking to the supply closet and giving it to her.

"Thanks." I said brightly.

"No problem." I walk to the kitchen.

"What are you gonna do?" I asked, following her.

"Going to get water." I open the fridge and get a water bottle.

"Ah.." I looked down. "Can I ask you something?"

"Yeah?" I ask closing the fridge

"Can you sleepover, here?" I asked.

"Sure let me text my mom first."I say grabbing my phone out of my hoodie.

"Okay." I moved closer to her scared.

I text my mom:
Mom I'm staying at Skylars see you tomorrow -
"Want pajamas?" I asked, heading to clean the living room.

"Yeah please." I say opening the bottle.

"Okay, come on." I say gesturing to my room.
