Roka hoped he wouldn't make the other feel too awkward, so he kept some distance between them. He smiled lightly. "Night, Kumi."

"Goodnight, Roka.." he yawned softly, shutting his eyes a bit as he felt sleepiness wash over him.

Roka fell asleep as well, soundly. It was nice not to be alone at night.

That night, despite still feeling pain and some weakness from his sudden illness, was probably the most comfortable of nights he had. At one point he became a bit cold though, so he scooted himself closer to Roka.

Out of instinct, Roka moved toward the heated body next to him, almost to the point he was cuddling it. -

Kumiko felt cuddling in his sleep and he knew who it was, so it brought some darkness to his sleep. But he didn't wake up. -
Roka woke up in the morning, early. He smiled as he was still pretty much half asleep, and cuddled more to the warmth. That is, until he realized who that warmth was. "Kuso..." He muttered silently, moving away. Don't be an idiot and mess things up!

It wasn't long before Kumiko woke up, and then noticed that Roka wasn't beside him. Half of him was disappointed, but the other half was smug about that. "Good morning," he said softly.

"Good morning, Kumi." Roka smiled kindly, sitting up in the bed. "How are you feeling?"

**cuddled next to him, dammit. Not beside
"I'm feeling better, Roka," Kumiko responded. He blew out a puff of air so that strand of his pink hair would get out of his face, then he continued to ask, "How was your sleep?". -
"Ah, that's good to hear. I slept very well." Roka nodded and smiled, secretly thinking as the other blew hair out of his face it was cute.

"That's good," Kumiko nodded, starting to realize how much Roka did smile. And he felt bad. "Look, I'm sorry."

He looked over at him, slightly confused. "Hm, sorry about what?"

"I'm an a--hole, I know. Like if I'm avoiding you or whatever," Kumiko admitted softly.
