She glanced at her list. Her sister was in charge of dinner tonight, and it was difficult to make out the 10-year-old's scrawl. She barely made out "milk" and headed toward the dairy section.

Steven entered the large store, glancing around. Whatever the hell it was his mom wanted, he had forgot to ask. Oh well.
"...Oh yeah. She needs milk. Dammit, how could I forget!" he muttered through clenched teeth. A few of the shoppers turned to stare as he made his way to the dairy section. -
Cinny found the milk and grabbed a gallon of the sweet 2% liquid. She walked away a few paces and tried to read the next thing on the list.

Steven stormed into the section, almost running into a girl who was standing there reading a piece of paper. He blinked, stopping himself by thrusting out his hand to hold onto one of the shelves.

She glanced up and quickly stepped back to avoid hitting the boy.
"Ah! Uh, sorry. That was my fault." -
"No, no, it was mine. I was rushing...." he stammered, putting a hand behind his head to show his 'solid defeat'. His face was getting red with embarrassment.

"No, I should have been looking where I was going." She shuffled her feet. She could feel her ears getting warmer, despite the coolness of the store.

"You weren't even moving!" Steven protested. His glasses began to fall off and he pushed them back onto his nose.

She looked at him for a moment. She didn't really know what to say so she tilted her head. "Ah, okaayy... Um, well, uh. See ya?" She shyly made her way around him.

Steven blinked, nodding.
"Uh...yeah." he called out, turning to glance at her again. -
She had found the word 'butter' right before the almost-collision and walked to the other side of the dairy section to find the familiar yellow tub.

Steven quickly grabbed a carton of milk and went to the whatyoucallit it pay and leave.

She found the butter and looked for the next thing on the list.

Steven bought the milk and began to leave.

She got the rest of the things on her list and speed-walked to the checkout. She needed to have a talk with her sister about handwriting...
