also i do kinda suck at lyrics SO i wanted to exercise a little, my theme was “vulnerability” and i tried to focus on poetry while making it pleasant to read aloud:))
i wrote this in I WANT TO SAY 6-7 minutes but realistically it was probably 10💔💔 so here
“ a squished bee
doesn’t fly
it only sits
to pass the time
as life slips
from its eyes
it only sits

a cut tree
doesn’t sway
it only lays
to pass the days
while it bleeds (this was originally “as its blood” but i just changed it ajjsjshs)
seeps out the bark

ACTUALLY i’m going to change it a little so the vowels are less “peter piper picked a peck of pickled peppers” and more mouth candy lol
