I’m feeling a bit nerdy.
This thread is for exactly what is stated in the title- reviewing books! You can rate books using the the star method, percentages, or anything else really.
I personally prefer to rate most everything using the star method, but only up to five stars.
✩ ✩ ✩ ✩ ✩ - Perfect, flawless
I wouldn’t expect any stories to receive this rating because nothing is ever perfect, but if you enjoy a book that much.. go for it.
✩ ✩ ✩ ✩ - Great!
This rating is more ideal for stories that are thoroughly enjoyable. Reading a story with this rating should leave you satisfied.
✩ ✩ ✩ - It’s alright!
This rating is for stories that may be decent quality, but they’re not exactly eye-catching or attention-grabbing. It’s about average.
✩ ✩ - Not so great!
This rating indicates that the book wasn’t very satisfying or enjoyable and there were several flaws, but it doesn’t mean it’s terrible.
✩ - The worst!
Most books probably won’t receive this rating, but it happens sometimes. These stories aren’t enjoyable or satisfying and they contain several flaws, which are extremely difficult to overlook. A story with this rating may even leave the reader with an uncomfortable feeling.
I believe this method should be appropriate for this thread.
Anyone can post book reviews here. Reviews are not limited to published stories! You may review a book that you’ve read online. These stories can be found on Wattpad, Quotev, and other online sites.
I only ask that you do not review your own story! The review would be a bit biased, wouldn’t it?
