  We went out for a while, and before that we were really good friends, and I want to be like that still.

  Agreed. You should ask her if you two can still be friends, and go back to the way things used to be. Which might be a little uncomfortable to come out and say, but if you want her to at least understand you still want to be friends, then it's good to say it :)
