Kish NoviceHave you ever wondered whether adoption affects the child who has been adopted. Perhaps he/she has only a mother/father and they remarry. This is adoption too, isn't it? Have you wondered how they feel? Well i should know, i have been adopted. My mom remarried and my so called father adopted me. Believe me, i hate being adopted, i would rather die. People look at you rather strangely, gossip all around, and being treat you as a reject, even at school. I only had a few good friends and they left the country so i only have my mom in this country and a few friends. I have thought of committing suicide once but i guess i have no guts to do that. I'm not saying my step father ill treats me, its just that i get little or no attention, my step brother gets it all. I guess thats the punishment for being adoption, having no one besides your mom in my case. I guess thats a reject! Sorry if i seem to be talking non sense or something but its just that i didn't know what else to do! What do you think of adoption???

Well, I'm sorry to hear about how people are treating you because you are adopted
But have you ever questioned the possibilites of why you were adopted? Maybe it was something big that would've made your life twice as miserable as being adopted.
Maybe your peers just don't know how to act and are treating you this way because they think it's funny, but it's not.
There are a couple of people at my school who are adopted and nobody makes fun of them or anything. Sometimes people wish to be adopted 'cause they thinks it's some time of mystery in their faith.
But don't kill yourself. You're life could've been more miserable if you weren't adopted.
Just think of it this way. When you're older you'll get married and have your own family. Just enjoy your life with the people who love you and aprreciate what you have now. Your birth parents probably loved you so much that it was difficult for them to make this decision. Just be happy that your birth parents didn't give you an abortion. -

Kish Novice@lilfreakgryl, abortion is one thing i have been wondering about, why didn't my mom abort me? I asked her once and she said that she had no other option but 2 keep me. And 2 make matters worse im illegitimate, know what that means? And no i won't kill myself simply because i can't!

Don't feel bad about being adopted, there's nothing really wrong about it and you should know that =) I'm sorry another new sibling is getting more attention... from what I've seen, most of the time it's because one child seems incapable of the changes more than the other person, and they probably think your stepbrother is having more trouble than you... maybe, I'm not sure.
Anyway, don't feel bad enough to the point where you want to commit suicide... f--- people if they're treating you differently because your mother remarried. And I'm sorry you're feeling this way at all *hugs* -
