ok im goin to put a description of cheese here: Take away all the cheeses that hail from Europe, and no longer would mozzarella grace a pizza. A Greck salad would be feta-ress. And hamand-swiss on rye? Just another sandwich. The average American cats niore than 26 pounds of cheese each year, up 30% from 10 years ago. And while there are still plenty of consumers who have yet to taste Brie, more people are "discovering" varieties of European-style cheeses.
