Ernie chuckled. “Selene, see what I have to go through?” He looked up.

Selene chuckled. ‘You and I both, human.’
‘I hate you both.’ -
Ernie didn’t bother correcting her and telling her his name again, even though he really hated being called human. He just chuckled and wrapped an arm around Mahina.

Mahina blushed.

Ernest noticed, smiling.

Mahina huffed.

Ernest just chuckled. “What, you embarrassed?”

‘No!’

“Mhm.” Ernest chuckled.

Mahina huffed.

Ernest laughed. “It’s fine! It’s cute.” He blushed as he said the last part.

Mahina blushed hard.

Ernie was as well, so he didn’t make fun of her. He was annoying sure, but not a hypocrite.
