"Fine then, I'm restating it." Theo chuckled.

Hazel chuckled.

Theo grinned, eating more of his food.

Hazel did as well.

At this point most of the kids were done eating and yelling about what superpower they wanted, and the table was mostly empty.

Hazel finished her salad and stood up.

Theo finished soon after, standing up as well.

Hazel put her dishes in the sink in the kitchen.

Theo did too.
The only other person left at the table was Hazel's dad. -
Hazel glanced at her dad, then started walking up he stairs.

Her dad didn't say anything, he just looked at the two of them with an unreadable expression. Theo ran up the stairs closely behind Hazel.

Hazel clenched her jaw and walked into her room.

Theo did as well. "Want me to shut the door?"

Hazel nodded. 'Thanks.'

Theo smiled. "No problem." He shut the door before walking to his mattress.
