Nikolai nodded, smiling. "The plot is like a big scavenger hunt but super cool."

Natsuki skimmed the shelves for the book.

"It's riiiiight here." Nik said when he found the book, handing it to her.

'Thanks,' Natsuki said, reading the back of it.

"No problem." Nikolai said with a smile.

'Any others?' Nat asked. Books had kept her the most company without her siblings and Nik.

"The Giver's a good one, it's old though. And Hunger Games is sci-fi too."

Natsuki nodded, and eventually chose out The Hobbit from the fantasy section. 'Do you want anything?'

Nik shook his head. "I got plenty of books from my grandma. Thanks though."

Natsuki nodded, then walked to the counter.

Nikolai followed her.

The woman behind the counter scanned her books. 'Cash or card?'

Nik looked over at Natsuki. "Do you need extra money?" He asked her.

Nat shook her head. 'Cash,' she said, pulling out her money and setting the needed amount on the counter.

The cashier nodded, and handed Natsuki a reciept.
