"Alright, lets go to my room." Nikolai said with a smile. "Bye grandma!"

Natsuki waved to Ruth as the two walked to Nik's room. 'She's very nice.'

Nik nodded. "Yeah, she's the best grandma ever." He said, grinning.

'Did you know her before you left for the city?' Nat asked curiously.

"I mean yeah, but not well." Nikolai said with a shrug.

'Where's your dad?'

"Probably at his boring office job."

Natsuki nodded. 'Makes sense.'

Nik nodded, looking around at his room. It was.... A mess. Boxes of stuff he hadn't bothered to open were stacked everywhere.

Natsuki looked around too, almost laughing at his untidiness.

"In my defense.... I like, just moved here." Nikolai laughed.

Natsuki chuckled. 'It's fine. It looks...' She paused to search for the right word. 'Homey.'

"If by homey you mean cluttered." Nik chuckled, sitting on his bed.

'A little,' Natsuki said.
