Sienna gave a sheepish look. "Well at my old schools you had too work at home if you got suspended"

'Not here,' Maya said, unwrapping the chocolate abar Sienna had given her. 'They're just glad to get rid of you.'

Sienna chuckled. "Better try and get suspended then!"

Maya laughed at that. She felt safe with Sienna, in a way she hadn't really before.

Sienna glanced at her watch and frowned. "Better head back or my Mum's gonna kill me!"

'How long has it been?' Maya asked, raising her eyebrows.

"A few hours! Well I guess time really does fly fast if your having fun!" Sienna chuckled reciting one of her Mum's old sayings.

Maya smiled. 'I suppose,' she said.

"Wait, do you want my phone number?" Sienna asked. "So we can text and stuff?"

'Sure,' Maya said, pulling out her phone.

"See you at school then?" Sienna said after they'd exchanged numbers.

'Yeah,' she said, smiling, 'See you at school.'
