It's a constant cycle.
The wizard will take on one student.
This student falls in love with the wizard's daughter and they get married.
Then the student becomes the master, and the cycle continues.
C1 is the wizard's daughter. She's determined to break this chain of romance and runs away from her home, when she bumps into C2
C2 was on his way to take an apprenticeship with the wizard, having always been fascinated with magic. -
