Hollyclaw didn't believe him. "Oh, then your first assignment is to go hunting!"

"Good!" Clawpaw dashed off to go hunt. He got a little nervous, as he had not idea how to hunt.

Hollyclaw smiled as she saw him run off.

Clawpaw found a mouse and crouched down, he stepped on leaves loudly and the mouse was long gone when he pounced.

Hollyclaw laid down and decided to wait.

Clawpaw tried a again a few times. He suddenly smelled his father. He remembered he went on a hunting patrol. He looked around, then dug and found a rabbit his father caught and took it to Holleyclaw.

Hollyclaw nodded her approval. "Good rabbit... are you sure it's your own? Because I smell Thunderclaw's scent on it..."

Clawkit got stressed. "Um... Uh... I caught it where my father had hunted for a while."

"Are you sure? Because if you're lying, you could get in a lot of trouble!"

"I'm sure."

Hollyclaw nodded. "Ok then."

"See, i'm an amazing hunter." Clawpaw quickly trotted to the fresh-kill pile.

Hollyclaw watched him intently.

"C-Can i go back to the apprentice den? Please?" Clawpaw asked to get away from his mentor.

Hollyclaw nodded. "Yes, you may."
