Not going to Mexico this year. You guys probably don't even understand how important that trip is to me. Going back home is the only thing that really keeps me from mental breakdowns and keeps my sanity intact.
I don't know why we're not going. It's not because of "the rise in violence", because honestly it's not bad there. I would guess it's because of the family problems with my dad's side. But even then, we could have gone to my mom's house.
