I've been reading too many creepypastas about mysterious files lately.
But anyway. I found two mysterious files in Audacity today. One titled 634734665187968750 and another titled 634753151200781250.
I opened 634734665187968750, and it showed up as unnamed and when I played it, it was nothing but earbleedingly high-pitched static. Not even a display of the frequencies, it was just blue. I haven't opened the other file yet.
I'm not sure what it is, but when I looked at the "Recent Files" it didn't show up. That freaked me the fuck out for some reason, because files always show up when I open them.
I just hope it isn't a virus or something. Although you think if it were a virus, I would have seen something happen by now.
I know, I'm a major pussy when it comes to these things. But seriously. It creeps me out.
(Also, is there a logical explanation for this, and I'm just being a moron?)
