People believe the end of the world is December 21, 2012. I don't believe it though. And actually, if you think about it, there is a perfectly good reason that some idiot decided to say the date is the 21st; it's the Winter Solstice. And a special one at that. So in other words, there is some science behind it but it was screwed around with and mixed with the Mayan calender (when their last scribe probably died or something and that's why they couldn't go on forever) and thus the idea of "the end of the world" was born

EHHH, still, I think i'mma join that redneck, even if it was a waste of time...still be worth it...I'll have to find a hot guy who is easily manipulated so if it really does happen, re-population, I also believe that's why people think the apocolips will take place because everyone died off and somehow magicaly turn into zombies and eat the survivers..

Yes, that is what the Winter Solstice is. The shortest day of the year, for the Northern Hemisphere anyways. It is when the Northern Hemisphere is tilted away from the Sun, and that's also why it is winter in those months. So yes Tyreseonator, it's the Winter Solstice on the 21st of December because it's the shortest day of the year. Although, it's more like it's the shortest day of the year because it's the Winter Solstice

And, if the world really did end, there would be no more Earth and so there wouldn't BE any survivors at all, because there wouldn't be a planet suitable for us to live on (within our capability to reach) and we would end WITH the Earth and if somehow we magically did not die with the planet there would not be any air that has the correct amount of Oxygen and Nitrogen and various other gasses anyway so we would suffocate to death anyway. -
