Other: Hybrid Avian Human, 1/3 her upper torso, her arm and leg, are all metal replacements. Hair is silver and eyes are jet black.

Sex: Female
Age: 17
Other: A person. Yes. Doesn't feel comfortable without headphones on, and music playing at all times. Usually just turns it down when someone is talking to her, as she is normally very uninterested in other people.

Cordelia sat outside her lab, which was stationed on the outskirts of town. She looked up at the sky, and all it's grayness.
Auralia walked through the town, trying to ignore the envious and hateful glances. She shivered. If looks could kill, she was one hundred percent sure she'd be dead. -
Mekai sat on a park bench, not really sure what else she was supposed to be doing. She glanced down at the ground, but immediately wished she hadn't. It's dull shade filled her with depression again, and she closed her eyes tight, focusing on her music instead.

Auralia soon came to the park, which she'd have to cut through to get to the edge of town.
She started running, a blur of color across the drear and drab landscape. -
Something caught Mekai's eye as she glanced up once again, a continuous, involuntary action, to see if maybe she could catch a wisp of some sort of color around her. Normally, she was disappointed, but her eyes opened wide as she noticed exactly what she had been looking for.
She stood up, chasing after the flash of color without really thinking about it. -
Auralia blinked, hearing footsteps behind her, startled, she ran toward the trees, trying to use them as cover. Of course, when you're bright and colorful and your world is dark, it's hard to miss you.

Mekai continued chasing after the color, which seemed now to be evading her. She reached out for it, but it was still out of reach.
"Hey!" she called, not really sure what else she was supposed to do. -
Auralia stopped soon, giving up. She pulled out a dagger, holding the shiny blade toward the other.
"I...I know how to use this!" She said, scared half to death. -
Mekai stopped, eyeing the dagger. She couldn't help but to think the girl really wouldn't be able to use it, but safety came first. Still..
"You have color.. where did you get it?" she asked, feeling very dumb for how that sounded. -
She huffed, holding the dagger tighter. "I..don't know. I've always had it. Why don't you have color, or everyone else?" She questioned.

Mekai raised her hands as if in surrender.
"How should I know! All I can see is that you have it... and we don't. You must know something." -
"I don't know..anything."Auralia said, slipping the dagger back in her boot.
