I have this idea where maybe one girl is apart of one side, perhaps the 'light' side, and the other is the 'dark' side. Like the earth has stopped moving and one half is always day and the other is always night. Both sides are have trouble understanding each other and thus don't like each other. But the girls meet and explore their lands, and fall in love and stuff. xD I hope this made some sense. -
