I got kind of nervous, "t-thank you" I quietly said, I forced myself to say it

I smiled, and heard a beep from my phone. 'Whoaa....Epic....Where did it go?" I said to myself. I had a tendancy to do that.

I got up to go find it, I rubbed my left eye and tried to focus, I wished that I never got into that fight, ever since the fight, I have been almost blind in my left eye

I saw the bright light of a screen a little in the distance. I strolled to it, and picked it up. My phone was unscathed, except for a small scratch on the case. I gasped in excitement.

I was not far away from her, I looked over and saw that she had it back, I sighed and went over to her

"O-M-G! My phone is okay!" I laughed happily. "YES!" I heard a rustle in the bushes, and froze. -

I heard something and looked at the bushes, was something moving? -

(By the way, can the thing they hear be one of your charries enemies. Just gives mine a bigger hint. xD)
There was more than just a rustle. I heard twigs snapping, leaves crushing, and a faint breathing. -

I wasn't sure what it was, I went a bit closer and realized that it was a person, a shuriken appeared in my hand like it came out of nowhere, but it was just in a hidden area in my cloths -
Whoever it was, I say whoever because I realized it was a person, smirked at Richard when he saw me. He approached me, and stopped about 5 inches away from my body, smiling devilishly.

I tried to aim right and unexpectedly threw it, but I missed horribly and it ended up getting stuck on a tree, I sighed, but was really nervous, I knew it was a shifter, I didn't see well, but I did see that he has cat like eyes and his pupils were slits like a cat

"Haha....This is the girl they speak of...." He said in a low, smooth, chocolatety voice, but in a spooky, chilling way. I looked down at his hand which came up on my shoulders. He turned to Richard, still keeping his hands on my shoulders...

my eyes widened, "g-get away from her" I said, I tried not to show fear, even though I was a ninja, I still needed to learn how to do stuff, and I was kind of young, I had to think of something

The guy laughed creepily. I shivered.
