This is a candle for the Lost Poem -
I really either 1.) want to finish this, or 2.) write a story based of this
-----------
She was a mix of Marlboro cigarettes,
And the strongest tequila you could find.
A prominent face in the crowd at parties,
But also when you lost your car keys at 2 a.m and couldn't find a ride home.
Just a phone call away,
She was like a ghost floating through space. -
I want this to be the introduction to my poem book, once I write it!
----------
Her body was a wasteland.
A place where mistakes found their home,
And insecurities buried into her skin.
She scratched away at herself,
Until parts of her were unrecognizable.
"You have changed so much."
Was a phrase her mind was familiar with. -
C1: Unknown Name
Description: Kind of heavy set, but not really. Wears a poofy pink, green and blue poofy jacket (think 90's)
The house in front of the two young adults was well over 200 years old. The last family had moved out due to "unnatural phenomenon", and the house has sat vacant since. They both had heard stories, but neither of them had seen it for themselves, so they both decided to make this house their "project house" (with permission of course. One girl held two cans of paint, a paintbrush sitting on the top of one can. The other held a paint scraper, and some trash bags.
The girl holding the paint looked back on the long bridge they had crossed to get here. It was a wooden bridge, that swayed in the wind. There was ropes holding it together on either side, and somehow it had a rope canopy that was threaded together above the bridge. She looked back at her friend, unsure of the project from the beginning and gave a little half-hearted smile. "So, are you ready to get this started?" The other girl nodded with a grin, her circular glasses reflecting the little sunlight that could be seen peeking through the clouds.
As the girls approached the house, items in tow, the wind started to pick up slightly. They didn't think anything of it, as they opened the door and headed inside.
This was based off a dream I had, plus the inspiration for the plot I made in The Library! -
For Lost Poem 2 -
I wish that I was good enough.
That the moment my words left my lips,
The world didn't crash down.
My brain exploding into a thousand endless epiphanies,
Wondering what could have been different if only my words could be changed.
I wish I felt worthy.
The empty feeling in my chest,
Expands and contorts into a monstrous being.
One that seems to be just out of reach,
But always lurking one step behind.
I wish that I was beautiful. -
This is just a dream I had a while back.
I had worked my way to the top of a business. I got a promotion and had to meet the head honcho
Man, that was buff. Had tattoos and a walking stick with two blue tie ons.
"You have to change the perspective of your mind, because people are going to see what they want to see." The people crowding the room saw him as a frail old man in a dress shirt and dress pants just wandering the room.
"You have to let go some parts of yourself, if you want to excel. I got here with patience and understanding"
"You won't always win. Learn which losses to take." -
Another unfinished Poem
----------
I hope that I am not too much to love.
That on cold nights,
We can sit in the kitchen
And tell stories about past experiences. -
Not done, just taking a break to clear out my gallery

Delores and Harold
----------
Dolores had started her morning just like any other. She would sit up in the bed while her husband was still asleep, slide her slippers over her feet and carefully head downstairs.

Wanted to do a thing inspired by the old couple that held onto each other instead of running away from the film 2012 -
An idea that I had that I want to continue

"Darling, part of me being here is so you don't have to take the fall for everything." He stated, holding my hand. For a brief moment our eyes locked and we both exhaled.
"I know, but certain things are meant to be done alone."
I squeezed his hand, and sat up in the bed. My side ached from pain, but at least now it was some-what tolerable. "Would you like to hear what happened?" -
Southern Barbershop Gossip (Unfinished)
----------
Soft leather chairs,
Combined with the smell of over-used hair spray
Waits on the same clientele that come in every week.
Old southern belles
Who recount tales of their youth,
Or flitter through the latest hill-side gossip.
"Did you hear about Ms. Margaret?"
The hair dresser looks at a one of the ladies,
Whose white hair puts me in the mind of a fluffy cloud.
"No!"
She exclaims in a tone that could be mistaken for excitement. -
Unfinished Poem for us

You see;
We are like two different stars on different universal planes.
Times exists differently between us,

Make a fantasy story about the mushrooms, they are traveling merchants that roam from cave to cave, selling honey and dew to bugs from a little moss pouch. Also they are small
----------
The day began as any other with the sunlight filtering through the trees, hitting the ground below. On the forest floor, was an unlikely set of mushrooms that seemed to be walking.
The first mushrooms name was Puff, and he seemed to carrying a lantern. Albeit it wasn't lit now, you could tell it had been lit at some point since the wick inside was blackened and some if the candle wax had melted. The lantern was only to be used at night when they were traveling, or when gathering items to start a small campfire. They tried to keep the usage of the lantern to a minimum, since getting candles made was an expensive commodity. The second mushroom in the trio was known as Cap. Cap would carry a map around, so they knew where to go. Most of the places they went and sold their wares they had been too before. Once in a while, they would get a request to go somewhere off the books, like today. Thankfully, Cap was a traveler and had experience. This trips had almost taken them a week, and thankfully by the end of the day they would reach their destination. The last mushroom in the rag-tag trio was Bella. Bella was tasked with gathering honey and dew to sell to the variety of insects that were their clientele. Thanks to the length of this trip, she had plenty of time to gather an egregious amount which would be good for business.
As the trio made their trek, Cap kept looking at the map and making notes. "Not too far now." He said, looking at his companions. "It should be just past that oak tree." He said, pointing at a large oak tree in the distance that seemed to be marked with a purple triangle. Bella and Puff seemed to be excited and picked up their pace a bit. Before the trio knew it, they came to the entrance of a small cave.
The inside of the cave looked cozy enough as they stepped inside. The bottom of the cave was lined with moss and lichen, and the exterior was hidden by grass and dandelions. "Glad to see you could make it." A voice echoed from the back of the cave. From the shadows appeared an ladybird. It appeared her wing on the right side has been shredded a bit, along with her back right leg having a limp. The trio tried not to stare and shuffled slightly. "Nice to meet you!" Cap walked up to the ladybird and extended his hand. The ladybird nodded and shook his hand. "Tonight, you all can settle in and get your wares ready. All of your clientele will be here in the morning before the dew dries to get what they need." The ladybird shuffled to the entrance of the cave, and turned to look at all of the mushrooms. "I am glad you are here. Thank you." She said, before exiting the cave and flying away.
Bella moved toward the back of the cave and started lining up the droplets of honey and dew. This was her favorite part of the trips. Getting to line up the dew and honey to see for the next day. For some reason it gave her a sense of comfort. She was careful not to ruin the shape of the dew, because if she did the dew and honey would spew out onto the cave floor. While Bella was taking note of their stock, Cap and Puff set up a make-shift table with a bag beneath the table for collecting payment. Puff looked at the entrance of the cave for a moment, then looked at Cap. "I am going to see if I can find something to better conceal the entrance of the the cave." Cap nodded. "Be safe. If you need anything, you know what to do." Puff nodded, the satchel he was carrying still next to his side. There was a tiny home-made dagger just in case something were to go wrong.
As Puff ventured outside, he noticed the sounds of a flowing stream near-by. That would be helpful for their way home. They could at least fill up on water and go hunting for berries before starting the long trek back.
He walked past the cave, and ventured further down an unmarked path. Before he knew it, he stumbled upon a patch of large ferns. "This is perfect!!" He said, as he started gathering the ferns and slinging them across his shoulder. Once he was almost finished collected what he needed, he heard a rustle on the nearby bushes. He paused for a moment, his heart elevating. "Who's there?" He said, gripping the ferns and trying not to fold from nervousness. -
