My friend mentions his girlfriend every 15 minutes and it's f---ing annoying. We get it, you're together. You don't have to keep saying you're her boyfriend. Like, and y'all are talking about personal s--- between the two of you in a public vc while other people are trying to chill. Kinda rude.

I kind of understand now why people say "Do as I say, not as I do". I don't condone the actions they do, because they're usually harmful to themselves or others, but when you've done something for so long, or that thing feels like the only bit of comfort you have, it makes sense. But at the same time, you feel guilty and don't want someone else ruining their life. And maybe you dont hold hope in your own life like you do theirs.
