  the ending is TRASH though, I'm praying it's just because they're segueing into a sequel
  
  It's a Japanese thriller/psychological horror? It's amazing if you've played the games (according to my friends) but perfect as an intro as well

  Very few jump scares and gore as well. I wouldn't recommend it as an intro to horror/scary movies though.
