Finished2016 NewbieI had a betta, but its dead now. It lived a little over a year. I.dont know about females, but I know you dont want to have two males in the same fish tank/bowl. One will eat the other. they are very aggressive. They are super easy and fun to take care of and they're not any trouble. You just have to find out how often to feed them (I think its like 2-3x daily but I dont remember) and you have to keep their water filtered. We just bought a filter-lidded tank thing. It wasnt that expensive. They are cute and beautiful and great pets!

Finished2016 NewbieNot much. He was red, and he had one tiny fin (hehe like Nemo) but he swam fine. He knew when it was time to eat... he just waited near the surface of the water. We gave him a tiny log decoration in his tank and he loved chillin in there. Thats about all I remember of him. His name was Royal.
