I'll be back in a bit. Please offer your views if you can.

The best moral system is choosing the sin you can live with.

Makes sense capix.

SecretLie8 Newbie1. Why is there something rather than nothing?
-Well, everything is made of something despite the fact we might not can see, feel, or know what it is. Nothing really is directed at something specific. Therefore nothing is kinda nothing its self.
2. Is our universe real?
-in my opinion, no. Although if you are a person who believes everything must be a thing, then the universe is just a thing people say to make sense of where we are. Cause really we might never know.
3. Do we have free will?
-Yes but at some point we are restricted of that free will by law, and natural instincts (like holding your breath, you are going to breath rather you want to or not). But of course there is also the possibility that there is an unknown force causing every action we make, this might be the reason why "we can't use are whole brain"(so they say...)
4. Does God exist?
- I believe the possibility of a higher force, but then that force must somehow had been created. So in my mind I see everything as a big loop, we (without knowing) are somehow controlling another, and them in turn until it loops back to use(just my imagination really). But god is really just something to blame for troubles/situations, and also something to look forward to. Its comforting to people to know there is someone taking care of them. Like a parent.
5. Is there life after death?
-there are (obviously) religions that believe this. But we can never tell until its too late. Its something to experience for yourself. We all could die and come back, we all could go to heaven/hell, or we could all fade to nothing. Or, maybe we all have our own way of being dead. There are many possibilities.
6. Can you really experience anything objectively?
- I don't really think so. But would we really be considered (IDK how to put this) a person? Yes, there are people who have no emotions, and aren't thought of to have any interpretation of anything. But it would seem they would all see it as meaningless, cause they don't care. Maybe cause they can't "care"...
7. What is the best moral system?
-that's in your own opinion and how you see what you believe.
8. What are numbers??
-something humans use to count, measure, and label things. But in many cases they are pretty much pointless. But its how we use it to attempt to know more about things around us. It has worked(so we believe) so far, don't you think?
Btw I have no real direct answer of course, I have no idea. But this is how I answer those question, IDK if those things can actually be answer "correctly". This is obviously my stupid attempt to give answers(and I probably failed) but I wanted to try anyway. Also, #6 I didn't completely understand the question so yeah...
Sorry if this annoys anyone in anyway, I just wanted to see what I had in mind. X3 -
Interesting answers if I may say.
These are supposedly philosophical questions that are not yet truly answered. -
SecretLie8 NewbieYeah, IDK how I think of this. XP
Oh, well I guess my answers can't really not be ruled wrong(unless I missed some facts, which I'm sure I did). -
This is opinionated anyway, no true answer yet. I'm just curious to see how people answer the questions.
-
SecretLie8 NewbieOh okay X3
