What do you suppose might happen if someone were to run away from home and run like half the country away?

I don't really want to elaborate,but it has to to with this dream I had. I just want to see how accurate my dream would be to a real life situation.
True, but does it lower the outcome if I told you the person ran away somewhere and hid in this person's house until they were discovered.
