The 2010 remake of the 1984 film "A Nightmare on Elm Street". It honestly was not bad. Jackie Earle Haley portrays a great Freddy Krueger, just like Robert Englund did.
And this should be in the Theater but...sorry -

It's hated on? I seen it when it just came out, and I kinda liked it. Certainly not terrible.

Besides, Wes Craven originally wanted Freddy Krueger to be a child molester, but when he wrote "A Nightmare on Elm Street" in 1984, there was a lot of child molestation cases going on, thus he made him a child murder. And I like the fact in the 2010 one, Freddy was a lot darker, and not as comedic as the 1984 version, which is also a good Freddy, but the 2010 version is just so much cooler.
