And I remember pacing back and forth every f---ing night trowing stupid fits at god asking him why and I remember hearing you say you didn't give a s---
and I remember slamming my head against the concrete floor praying that god you were just drunk again
and I remember wishing that the stupid car would stop that you would call me and say you needed me that you were sorry that I had meant something
and I remember staying up every night past five drinking vodka and I remember finding peace in the goddamn liquor because it only made me go numb
and I remember smoking all those damn cigars trying to prove my mind wrong that I didn't f---ing need you or want you
but I remember that the next day it would only be the same
and I remember that to this day you don't give a s--- and
then I remember that if we ever meet again I'd let you break my heart a second time because somehow I've gotten used to the pain
