I finally got sick of my laptops s---tyness (dual partitioned ubuntu, the dual partition was pointless as I only ever used one and the other was pointless) so I cleared the drive and installed Ubuntu 13.04 and updated it to 13.10. I broke the bootloader (grub) and had to reinstall that but tools made that easy.

Then I decided to maximize performance and lower the graphical eye candy. I changed the enviroment to XCFE 4. So far so good. Now I need to reinstall all my software and s---.

This wasn't that complicated. I just detailed a reinstall of my system and some edits to increase speed.
