I hate the dark...

I KNOW THIS IS LONG BUT I'M JUST TRYING TO LET IT ALL OUT.
It scares me so much that when I go to bed I always cover myself with a blanket. No matter how cold or hot it is. Even if I start sweating I still hide under the covers. I cover my ears with a blanket because I am scared that something is going to whisper into my ear or someone is going to grab my hair. When my feet stick out I always try to find a way to cover them so nothing can grab my legs and pull me away. When I stand up I start running and turning on the lights as fast as I can because I hate the dark. When I sleep, I try to get the covers out of my ears, but then when I hear a "click" or "clump" I cover my ears again. I tell myself "It's okay, mommy and daddy are here", but I just act the same. When my mom says "time to go to bed!" My heart starts pounding really fast and I start panicking. When my sister turns off the lights and I'm still dressing down, I get scared and I climb to bed and dress down with a blanket covering my head.
I'm scared of the dark, I hate it. -
